Park Place Dealerships, a subsidiary of Asbury Automotive Group, Inc. (NYSE: ABG), broke ground on a new Porsche dealership and an expanded Volvo facility on Lemmon Avenue in Dallas, Texas, on February 13, 2026. The project marks a significant expansion of the company’s luxury footprint in a key Texas market.

The new Porsche dealership will occupy 15 acres that Park Place purchased in December 2024 and is slated for completion in the second quarter of 2027. The site will house a state‑of‑the‑art showroom and service center designed to position the dealership among the premier Porsche locations in the country, according to company leadership.

The Volvo expansion adds a new service center adjacent to the existing dealership, creating a dedicated service footprint for all Volvo models. Construction is expected to finish in early 2027, allowing the brand to offer a seamless, efficient experience from arrival to departure for its customers.

This development follows Asbury’s recent acquisition of the Herb Chambers portfolio, which cost between $1.34 billion and $1.45 billion, added 33 dealerships, and generated approximately $2.9 billion in 2024 revenue. The Dallas expansion aligns with the group’s strategy of adding high‑margin luxury brands and leverages the Tekion dealer management system to improve operational efficiency across its network.

"We believe that these projects allow us to elevate the experience for both Porsche and Volvo clients in a meaningful way. The new Porsche dealership is expected to be one of the premier Porsche dealerships in the country, with the ability to serve clients at the highest level. At the same time, bringing the Volvo service center onto the property adds a level of convenience our clients truly value, creating a more seamless, efficient experience from the moment a client arrives onsite," said David Hult, President and Chief Executive Officer of Asbury.

"Dallas has a deep appreciation for luxury vehicles, and at Park Place, we are dedicated to delivering an exceptional luxury experience to our clients. For 37 years, Park Place has earned its reputation for offering a truly one‑of‑a‑kind client experience, attracting customers from across the nation. This prime location, just steps from our current dealerships and minutes from Love Field, ensures Porsche and Volvo enthusiasts will have access to the very best these brands have to offer," added Tony Carimi, Area Vice President of Park Place Dealerships.

The expansion is expected to enhance customer experience, increase sales and service revenue, and reinforce Asbury’s position in the Dallas luxury market. It also supports the group’s broader growth plan, which has delivered record revenues in recent periods while navigating the costs of acquisitions and system rollouts. The new facilities will help sustain the company’s long‑term profitability goals by expanding high‑margin brand offerings and leveraging technology to streamline operations.
