Accenture’s BOSLAN subsidiary has secured a contract to supervise the manufacturing and quality control of key components for the East Anglia TWO offshore wind farm, a 960‑megawatt project slated to begin construction in 2027 and become operational in 2028.

The contract covers offshore and onshore substations, platform foundations, inter‑array and export cables, wind turbines and other mechanical equipment. BOSLAN will deploy a multidisciplinary team of fabrication engineers, electrical engineers, welding inspectors and other specialists to ensure schedule and quality targets are met.

This win expands Accenture’s footprint in the renewable‑energy sector, reinforcing its position as a trusted partner for large‑scale infrastructure and capital projects. It demonstrates the synergy created by Accenture’s 2024 acquisition of BOSLAN, which brought deep expertise in infrastructure, capital projects and digital solutions to the firm’s renewable‑energy practice.

The East Anglia TWO project is part of the larger East Anglia Hub, which includes other major contractors such as Siemens Gamesa, Nexans, HSM Offshore Energy, Seaway 7, Cadeler and Taylor Woodrow. The contract underscores Accenture’s ability to deliver integrated solutions across the supply chain, leveraging AI and data capabilities to optimize project investments and support the UK’s net‑zero commitments.

Isaac Gómez, CEO of BOSLAN, said the project is one of the most significant renewable‑energy projects in the UK and that BOSLAN and Accenture will bring industry experience and AI/data expertise to deliver success. Michael Hotze, East Anglia TWO Execution Director, highlighted the value of BOSLAN as a single supplier to ensure quality and timely delivery.

While no immediate market reaction data is available, the contract aligns with the UK government’s net‑zero strategy and the growing offshore wind sector, positioning Accenture to capture future opportunities in large‑scale renewable‑energy projects.
