Adient announced the commercial launch of its ProForce Massage Flow solution, a new massage‑capable seating system that expands coverage to key lower‑back muscle groups and offers modular integration for automotive manufacturers.
The Flow version introduces moving modules that enable kneading, tapping and rolling techniques, giving automakers a more dynamic and customizable massage experience in mass‑production vehicles.
Production will begin on two Chinese OEM models, underscoring Adient’s focus on the growing Chinese market. The ProForce platform, which launched last year, provides the foundation for this new solution.
The launch comes after Adient’s strong Q1 2026 results, in which the company beat earnings expectations and raised its full‑year guidance, signaling confidence in its execution and the demand for premium seating features.
By adding the Massage Flow system, Adient strengthens its competitive position against Lear, Faurecia and Magna, and reinforces its strategy to increase premium content and capture the expanding market for comfort features in mid‑to‑high‑end vehicles.
