Aris Mining Corporation reported that its 2025 gold production reached 256,503 ounces, a 22 % rise from 210,995 ounces in 2024. The jump reflects the successful commissioning of a second ball mill at the Segovia mine, which lifted the mill’s capacity from 2,000 to 3,000 tonnes per day and drove a 26 % increase in second‑half output compared with the first half of the year.
The expansion at Segovia was the primary engine of growth, while the Marmato mine contributed 28,741 ounces in 2025. Marmato’s above‑guidance performance was driven by steady underground development and the progress of a new CIP plant and related infrastructure, which began operating in 2025 and are expected to be fully commissioned in Q4 2026. Together, the two sites accounted for roughly 90 % of the year‑end production.
Fourth‑quarter production fell to 63,137 ounces, a dip from the 69,852‑ounce figure originally reported. The decline was caused by unscheduled maintenance at Segovia in November that temporarily reduced throughput. Management confirmed that operations normalized in December, and the Q4 figure reflects the full impact of the maintenance period.
Looking ahead, Aris Mining is targeting 300,000 to 350,000 ounces of gold in 2026, a 10–15 % increase over 2025. The company’s strategy to reach 500,000 ounces annually by the second half of 2026 is underpinned by the expansion of Segovia, the ramp‑up at Marmato, and the development pipeline that includes the Soto Norte project in Colombia and the Toroparu project in Guyana. A robust cash balance of over $390 million provides the financial flexibility to fund these initiatives.
CEO Neil Woodyer emphasized that 2025 was a pivotal year, noting that the Segovia expansion “driven 26 % production growth in the second half of the year” and that Marmato “delivered steady, above‑guidance results as underground development progressed.” He added that the company is “building a diversified, multi‑asset gold producer with the potential to reach one million ounces of annual production, including Toroparu and Soto Norte.”
