Atlas Lithium announced that it has secured four key operational partners—Promon Engenharia, TSX Engineering, Cerne Construções, and RETC Infraestrutura—to drive the implementation of its 100‑percent owned Neves lithium project in Brazil’s Lithium Valley. The partners were selected through a competitive process and the contracts were awarded at or below the budget projections outlined in the company’s Definitive Feasibility Study, which projects 146,000 tonnes of lithium concentrate per year at an operating cost of $489 per tonne.
The engagement of these firms marks a critical path milestone that accelerates construction, reduces risk, and supports the company’s goal of first concentrate production within the next year. The DFS metrics—145% internal rate of return, $539 million net present value, and an 11‑month payback period—underscore the project’s strong economics and the disciplined cost control that the new partners will help maintain.
"Securing a top‑tier project management partner is a critical step in our disciplined approach to making Atlas Lithium a producer of lithium concentrate in short order," said Eduardo Queiroz, Atlas Lithium’s Project Management Officer and Vice President of Engineering. "The depth of interest from qualified firms validates the attractiveness of our project. With our processing plant already in Brazil and key permits in place, we are methodically advancing toward production while maintaining our focus on cost discipline and schedule optimization."
Atlas Lithium’s partnership with Mitsui & Co., which includes a $30 million investment and an offtake agreement, further strengthens the project’s financial foundation. The Neves project also benefits from potential U.S. and Japanese government support under critical minerals initiatives, and its dry‑stacking processing design eliminates the need for a tailings dam while recirculating over 95 percent of process water.
Analysts view the milestone as a positive step toward realizing the project’s low‑cost advantage and early production timeline, reinforcing confidence in Atlas Lithium’s execution capability and the viability of its Brazil operations.
