Astronics announced on March 12 that it has been selected by Boeing to supply fuel‑tank access doors for the 737 MAX program. The contract will be manufactured at Astronics’ Clackamas, Oregon facility, where the company already produces a range of advanced aircraft components.

The win expands Astronics’ partnership with Boeing, one of its two largest customers, and adds a new product line to its cabin‑power and systems portfolio. Boeing represents more than half of Astronics’ aerospace sales, so the contract strengthens the company’s position in a high‑margin segment of the 737 MAX supply chain.

While the contract value and duration were not disclosed, the addition is expected to generate incremental revenue and support Astronics’ ongoing margin expansion strategy. The company has recently reported record sales and expanding operating margins in its Aerospace segment, with Q4 2025 sales of $240.1 million and an adjusted EBITDA margin of 19.0 %.

Nick Stevenson, President of Astronics PECO, said the partnership “has been long‑standing and valued, and we are excited to support the 737 MAX program with the addition of fuel‑tank access doors to our current offerings.” The contract diversifies Astronics’ revenue streams within the 737 MAX program and could open further opportunities with Boeing.

The announcement underscores Astronics’ strategy of expanding its cabin‑power and systems portfolio and reinforces its role as a key supplier to major aircraft manufacturers. The company’s recent earnings beats and margin growth suggest strong execution, and the new contract aligns with its focus on high‑margin, high‑growth aerospace segments.
