Auna S.A. announced the execution of an addendum to its public‑private partnership with EsSalud that will begin construction of the 23‑story Torre Trecca outpatient facility in Lima. The project will become Peru’s largest outpatient center, adding a new, de‑risked revenue stream to Auna’s integrated care network.

The tower will cover approximately 59,000 square meters and include 145 consultation offices and 43 treatment rooms. It is expected to support more than three million patient visits annually and to expand EsSalud’s outpatient capacity by roughly 20%, reducing waiting times for more than six million insured Peruvians.

The addendum is structured so that EsSalud reimburses construction costs and provides guaranteed minimum monthly payments, limiting Auna’s upfront capital outlay and creating a predictable long‑term cash flow. The project is slated to start operations in mid‑2028, with the public‑private partnership term running to 2046 and renewal options extending to 2064. Construction activities are scheduled to take place throughout 2026 and 2027.

Suso Zamora, President and Executive Chairman of Auna, said the signing of the addendum is a significant milestone for the company and for the modernization of public healthcare delivery in Peru. Luis Felipe Pinillos, Vice Chairman, added that the partnership will expand specialized outpatient and diagnostic capacity, helping to close the healthcare access gap in metropolitan Lima.

Analysts view the project as a positive development that reinforces Auna’s strategy to scale its model into larger markets and strengthens its position as a leading vertically integrated healthcare provider in Latin America.
