Beam Global (NASDAQ: BEEM) and New York‑based HEVO Inc. have announced a joint solution that combines Beam’s off‑grid EV ARC charging stations with HEVO’s patented Rezonant wireless hardware and Journey software, creating the first fully autonomous, wireless charging system for electric and autonomous vehicles. The platform eliminates the need for grid connection, trenching, and manual plugging, allowing fleets to charge on the move.
The integrated system uses Beam’s renewable‑powered EV ARC stations as the power source while HEVO’s Rezonant technology delivers magnetic‑resonant wireless power to the vehicle. The solution is UL‑certified and SAE‑qualified for automated depot operations, enabling fleets to deploy charging infrastructure without the capital and construction costs that traditionally slow AV adoption.
Interest in the platform is already strong among autonomous fleet operators, government agencies, and commercial customers in the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and other international markets. The UAE’s autonomous‑vehicle market is projected to reach $2.7 billion by 2030, a CAGR of 19.2% from 2025, underscoring the strategic importance of a scalable, off‑grid charging solution in a region that is aggressively pursuing autonomous mobility.
Beam Global’s financial performance has been mixed. The company reported a 54.6% decline in revenue to $27.67 million over the last twelve months, but preliminary Q4 2025 revenue rose more than 50% from the prior quarter, marking the strongest performance since Q3 2024. These figures illustrate the company’s ongoing headwinds while also highlighting a rebound in demand for its core charging solutions.
HEVO, founded in 2011, has raised $585 k in funding and reported revenue of $69.83 k as of December 31 2022, with a net loss of $3.06 million. The partnership gives HEVO access to Beam’s global deployment network, while Beam gains a wireless technology that can accelerate its market penetration in autonomous fleets.
Desmond Wheatley, CEO of Beam Global, said the collaboration “is a natural and essential combination for AVs,” noting that the joint solution “will accelerate the deployment of autonomous fleets by removing the need for manual charging.” Jeremy McCool, Founder and CEO of HEVO, added that “autonomous fleets are not autonomous if charging is not automated, resilient and immediately deployable.” The partnership positions Beam Global as a key infrastructure enabler in a rapidly expanding AV market while addressing the company’s financial headwinds through a new revenue stream.
