KAYAK, a brand of Booking Holdings, introduced a new conversational travel‑planning experience called Ask AI that lets users chat while flight, hotel, and rental‑car results update in real time.

The launch comes as interest in travel to World Cup host cities climbs. Flight‑search data shows a 12% year‑over‑year increase to Canadian host cities, with Toronto searches up 19% and Vancouver up 5%. U.S. host‑city searches are up 23%, and Kansas City searches are up 168% YoY.

Hotel prices are also rising sharply, with U.S. rates up 36%, Canadian rates up 55%, and Mexican rates up 119%, reflecting the heightened demand surrounding the tournament.

Ask AI builds on KAYAK’s earlier AI initiatives, including KAYAK.ai and AI Mode, and is part of Booking Holdings’ broader strategy to embed conversational AI across its travel platforms.

Booking Holdings is preparing to report its first‑quarter 2026 results on April 28, following a Q4 2025 earnings beat and a 16.1% year‑over‑year revenue rise, and has completed a 25‑to‑1 stock split effective April 2.
