Chubb announced a partnership with Arctic Wolf to provide Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services to its cyber policyholders with more than 100 employees, expanding the insurer’s cyber coverage for mid‑market businesses.

The deal makes Arctic Wolf the preferred MDR provider for Chubb customers, leveraging its Aurora Platform that processes trillions of security events weekly through AI‑driven analytics and an open XDR architecture. The platform delivers continuous monitoring, threat detection, and incident response, allowing policyholders to operationalize security controls before attacks cause losses.

This partnership reflects a broader industry trend in which insurers tie coverage to security maturity. By embedding MDR, Chubb can better assess risk, reduce claim frequency and severity, and offer preferred pricing to compliant customers, thereby strengthening its competitive position in the growing cyber insurance market.

Nick Schneider, President and CEO of Arctic Wolf, said the partnership validates the Aurora Platform and underscores both companies’ commitment to reducing risk. While Chubb has not yet issued a quote, the collaboration signals a shift toward proactive risk management in its cyber portfolio.

The announcement is a strategic milestone that could influence Chubb’s underwriting and claims strategy, positioning the insurer to capture growth in the mid‑market cyber insurance segment.
