Holland America Line Unveils Nearly 30 New Itineraries for the 2027‑2028 Season

Holland America Line announced a portfolio of 29 new itineraries for the 2027‑2028 cruise season, adding routes that span Hawaii, Mexico, the Panama Canal, and the Pacific Coast. The new voyages will run from October through April out of five North American homeports, offering longer stays in Honolulu, extended visits to the Sea of Cortez, and fresh passages through the Panama Canal and the Great Bear Rainforest.

The launch comes on the back of Carnival Corporation’s record 2025 financial results, which included $26.6 billion in revenue and $3.1 billion in adjusted net income. Management projected a 12% rise in 2026 adjusted net income, giving the company a strong cash position to fund product development and fleet enhancements. Holland America’s expansion is therefore a strategic use of excess capital to capture growing demand for destination‑rich experiences in the premium cruise market.

Strategically, the new itineraries reinforce Holland America’s positioning as a provider of immersive shore excursions and cultural programming.
