Cadeler’s dedicated O&M platform, Nexra, secured a new firm contract to service two offshore wind farms in Taiwan, adding a multi‑month campaign to its portfolio. The contract will be executed with the company’s Wind Maker vessel, which was delivered in January 2025. The announcement was made on March 23 2026.
The contract value remains undisclosed, but a similar O&M campaign announced earlier in February 2026 was expected to exceed EUR 20 million, suggesting a comparable scale. The deal expands Cadeler’s presence in the Asia‑Pacific market and reinforces the company’s strategy to grow its O&M segment, which accounted for roughly one‑fifth of Cadeler’s 2025 revenue.
Cadeler’s fleet has doubled in the past year, with the Wind Maker joining a growing fleet of ten vessels by mid‑2027. The new campaign will help maintain high utilization rates for the vessel between larger installation projects, a key driver of Cadeler’s revenue growth and margin stability.
"As offshore wind markets mature, the need for reliable, high‑capacity service support increases. With our modern fleet and established presence in Asia‑Pacific, we are well positioned to support clients not only during installation, but throughout the operational life of their assets," said Mikkel Gleerup, CEO. "Securing campaigns like this reflects our ability to mobilise quickly where and when our clients need us. With a versatile fleet operating around the world, we can respond on short notice and execute safely and efficiently across different jurisdictions. This flexibility allows us to support the operational phase of offshore wind farms while maintaining high utilisation across our fleet," added Jacob Gregersen, Chief Growth Officer.
The contract underscores Cadeler’s focus on expanding its O&M services, a segment that has become a significant source of recurring revenue. By securing multi‑month campaigns in high‑growth markets such as Taiwan, Cadeler positions itself to capture a larger share of the offshore wind aftermarket and to leverage its expanding fleet for sustained profitability.
