Charter Communications announced the expansion of its fiber broadband network into Clark County, Indiana, adding Spectrum Internet, Mobile, TV and Voice services to more than 2,900 homes and businesses in previously unserved or underserved areas.

The expansion is part of Charter’s multi‑year rural construction initiative, which has already invested more than $7 billion in private capital, is expected to add over 100,000 miles of fiber and serve 1.7 million new locations nationwide. The new service offers gigabit speeds up to 1 Gbps, advanced Wi‑Fi, no modem fees, no data caps, no contracts, and the ability to bundle with Spectrum Mobile.

"Spectrum is bringing gigabit broadband to rural communities in Indiana and across America. Our investment is providing residents and small businesses superior connectivity at highly competitive…," said Heather Day, Area Vice President for Spectrum’s Kentucky and Southern Indiana Management Area.

The rollout strengthens Charter’s presence in rural markets, expands its addressable customer base, and supports the company’s strategy of converging broadband, mobile and video services to reduce churn and drive incremental revenue. It also positions Charter to compete more effectively against fiber overbuilds and fixed‑wireless alternatives in the region.
