Clover Health announced a partnership with HealthEx that gives its Medicare Advantage members single‑sign‑on access to clinical records and claims data, allowing members to verify identity, authorize access, and retrieve records without navigating multiple portals.

The collaboration builds on Clover’s existing interoperability work with Kno2 and leverages Counterpart Health infrastructure that powers Clover’s AI platform. Members can share data with trusted providers, digital health apps, and other participating organizations, governed by individual privacy policies. This expands member control and supports Clover’s broader strategy of delivering a more integrated, technology‑driven care experience.

The partnership demonstrates the scalability of Counterpart Health’s infrastructure beyond Clover’s own insurance book. By enabling external partners to use the same secure data exchange, Clover positions itself to capture additional value from its Clover Assistant platform and to showcase its technology to other payers. The collaboration also aligns with Clover’s 2026 financial guidance, which projects total revenues of $2.81‑$2.92 billion and first‑full‑year GAAP net‑income profitability.

Management comments highlight the significance of the move. Priyanka Agarwal, M.D., MBA, co‑founder and CEO of HealthEx, said, “Clover Health is demonstrating what member‑directed access can look like in practice. By enabling members to access claims data alongside clinical records, Clover Health, Counterpart Health, and HealthEx are helping create a more complete and portable health record that individuals can use across the healthcare ecosystem.” Kevin Holub, Chief Product Officer at Counterpart Health, added, “We believe individuals should have simple, secure access to their health information and greater control over how it is used. This new capability and our partnership with HealthEx builds on the interoperability foundation we have already put into production and shows how infrastructure powered by Counterpart Health can help Clover Health empower members and deliver a more streamlined experience by eliminating the need to navigate multiple portals or separate logins.”

The partnership follows Clover’s March 10 collaboration with Kno2, which made it the first payer live on a CMS Aligned Network and TEFCA. Together, these initiatives reinforce Clover’s commitment to interoperability and patient empowerment, positioning the company to capture new growth opportunities while strengthening its competitive moat in the Medicare Advantage market.
