Cognizant announced a deepening of its partnership with Google Cloud that moves the company from platform integration to full‑scale execution of agentic AI across client environments. The new phase launches a productivity offering that blends Gemini Enterprise with Google Workspace, enabling clients to convert manual, fragmented tasks into AI‑driven workflows such as collaborative content creation and supplier communications. Internally, Cognizant will deploy Gemini Enterprise and Google Workspace to boost productivity, employee experience, and delivery velocity across its own operations.
The partnership includes the creation of a dedicated Gemini Enterprise Center of Excellence and a significant investment in delivery capabilities to deploy agentic AI consistently at enterprise scale. Cognizant’s Agent Development Lifecycle will embed AI directly into the development workflow—from design and blueprinting to implementation, validation and production rollout—providing clients with industry‑specific, no‑code solutions for high‑impact use cases such as AI‑powered contact centers and intelligent order management.
Cognizant’s Q4 2025 results underscore the company’s financial strength and support its AI‑centric strategy. Revenue rose 4.9% year‑over‑year to $5.3 billion, and full‑year 2025 revenue reached $21.1 billion, a 7.0% increase. Operating margin expanded to 16.1%, up 140 basis points from the prior year, while adjusted earnings per share grew 11% to $5.28. The company guided 2026 revenue growth to 4.9%–7.4% and projected adjusted operating margin expansion, reflecting confidence in continued AI demand and cost discipline.
"This partnership reinforces Cognizant’s position as an AI builder, a new kind of services partner focused on creating purpose‑built, enterprise‑grade solutions that drive real business outcomes," said Annadurai Elango, President of Core Technologies and Insights. "Cognizant brings together the optimal combination of people and technology, including proprietary IP and deep services expertise, to build industry‑specific platforms, embed context into systems, and co‑create agentic solutions tailored to each client’s business," he added. Kevin Ichhpurani, President of Global Ecosystem and Channels at Google Cloud, noted that the collaboration enables organizations to deploy enterprise‑ready AI solutions that deliver real business impact.
Analysts have issued mixed ratings on the partnership announcement, reflecting a balance between enthusiasm for Cognizant’s AI strategy and caution about the competitive landscape. The market reaction has been positive, with investors acknowledging the company’s strong financial footing and its commitment to scaling AI capabilities across its service portfolio.
