Douglas Elliman announced the acquisition of the Jackson Arnett Group, a San Diego‑based luxury real‑estate team led by Delorine Jackson, Ian Arnett, and Bayley Bachiero. The group previously operated under Compass and has built a reputation for handling high‑net‑worth transactions in Rancho Santa Fe and North County Coastal San Diego.

The Jackson Arnett Group closed more than $160 million in sales volume in 2025, a figure that places it among the top performers in the region. In 2024 the team generated $53 million in closed sales, demonstrating a clear upward trajectory in both volume and transaction value. The acquisition adds three licensed agents—Jackson, Arnett, and Bachiero—to Douglas Elliman’s roster, expanding the firm’s capacity to serve clients seeking properties above $3 million.

Douglas Elliman’s expansion into San Diego is part of a broader strategy to strengthen its footprint in key luxury markets. The firm opened a new office in Del Mar Village in March 2025 and reported a Q4 2025 GAAP net income of $68.6 million, with revenue of $1.033 billion. The acquisition is intended to build on that momentum by leveraging the Jackson Arnett Group’s local expertise and client base to capture a larger share of high‑net‑worth transactions.

Strategically, the deal consolidates top talent and deepens Douglas Elliman’s presence in one of the country’s most lucrative luxury markets. By bringing the Jackson Arnett Group under its umbrella, the company aims to enhance service offerings, strengthen client relationships, and generate additional revenue growth in a market where it already commands a significant presence.

"We are thrilled to welcome Delorine, Ian and Bayley to the Douglas Elliman family. Their extraordinary track record, deep roots in Rancho Santa Fe and North County San Diego, and commitment to excellence align perfectly with our vision of empowering elite agents to deliver unmatched service in California's premier luxury markets," said Michael S. Liebowitz, President and CEO of Douglas Elliman.

"Joining Douglas Elliman is a strategic and exciting step forward for our team. This move will enhance our ability to maximize opportunities for buyers and sellers — from strategic property enhancements to publicizing high‑end transactions — all while maintaining the personal, integrity‑driven service our clients have come to expect," added Ian Arnett.

"After more than two decades building our business in Rancho Santa Fe and North County Coastal San Diego, this move to Douglas Elliman represents the next meaningful chapter for our team and our clients," said Delorine Jackson.

The acquisition aligns with Douglas Elliman’s broader expansion plan, which includes opening new offices and pursuing high‑value markets across the United States. While the deal strengthens the firm’s competitive position, analysts note that the overall market sentiment remains cautious, and the acquisition alone may not immediately alter investor expectations. Nonetheless, the addition of a proven luxury team is expected to provide a tangible boost to the firm’s high‑net‑worth transaction pipeline and reinforce its leadership in the San Diego market.
