Amdocs announced that it has extended its collaboration with Vodafone Germany, a key European telecom operator, at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The extension is part of Vodafone’s broader telco‑to‑techco transformation, which includes a three‑year migration to the public cloud and the deployment of generative AI tools to reduce deployment costs and accelerate autonomous operations across its network and service platforms.

The partnership builds on a relationship that began in 2019 and expanded in 2022, and now deepens the engagement. Amdocs will help Vodafone Germany accelerate the rollout of autonomous operations, leveraging its cloud‑native, AI‑enabled solutions to modernize commercial operations and deliver higher accuracy, speed, and customer experience.

Anthony Goonetilleke, Group President of Technology and Head of Strategy at Amdocs, said, "This moment marks a pivotal milestone in our journey with Vodafone Germany as we move towards transformation completion." He added, "Through this partnership supporting multiple lines of business, we are enabling the modernization of Vodafone Germany's commercial operations, leveraging GenAI to embrace autonomous capabilities, and helping to deliver the levels of accuracy, speed, and experience today's customers expect."

The extension adds a significant European telecom customer to Amdocs’ managed‑services portfolio, reinforcing its recurring revenue base and demonstrating its ability to secure long‑term contracts with large operators. It signals confidence in Amdocs’ cloud‑native, AI‑enabled solutions and positions the company to capture further growth in the evolving telco market.

Amdocs’ Q1 FY2026 earnings, released in February, were well received, with the company citing the Vodafone Germany extension as a key win. The deal underscores Amdocs’ focus on AI, cloud services, and managed services, and highlights its capacity to deliver large‑scale digital transformation projects.
