8x8 Expands Global Availability of 8x8 Engage Platform

8x8 announced on March 12 that its 8x8 Engage platform is now generally available across all of the company’s global channels, allowing customers and channel partners worldwide to access unified communications and collaboration features without regional restrictions.

The expansion is part of 8x8’s strategy to deliver a single, cloud‑native solution for voice, video, chat, and contact‑center services. By making Engage broadly available, the company aims to accelerate adoption, increase usage volume, and help offset margin compression that has accompanied its shift to consumption‑based pricing.

Adoption data released with the announcement shows 150 % growth in the platform, daily active new customers rising nearly fivefold year‑over‑year, and daily active users growing more than fourfold. These figures illustrate strong demand and rapid uptake across the customer base.
