Elbit Systems Ltd. announced a new multi‑year contract worth approximately $277 million for the supply of its UT30MK2 30 mm turret system and associated munitions. The contract will be executed over a three‑year period and includes the UT30MK2, a modular turret that can be configured for both manned and unmanned platforms and integrates a 30 mm main gun, a 7.62 mm coaxial weapon, and anti‑tank guided missiles.

The award expands Elbit’s already sizable order backlog, which stood at $25.2 billion as of September 30 2025, and adds a new revenue stream that will generate recurring sales throughout the contract term. The $277 million addition represents a modest but meaningful increase to the backlog, reinforcing the company’s long‑term revenue visibility.

The UT30MK2’s open‑architecture design and rapid conversion capability between manned and unmanned configurations give it a competitive edge in markets where armed forces seek flexible, high‑performance firepower. The turret’s integration of a 30 mm gun, coaxial machine gun, and anti‑tank missiles positions it as a versatile platform for a range of combat vehicles.

Elbit’s president and CEO, Bezhalel (Butzi) Machlis, said, “We are proud to be selected once again by a valued international customer. These contracts reflect the customer's confidence in our advanced land systems and munitions technologies and further demonstrate our ability to deliver high‑performance, operational solutions to armed forces worldwide.” The statement underscores the company’s continued success in securing large, multi‑year defense deals.

The contract win follows a string of recent agreements, including a $435 million six‑year deal for advanced defense systems announced on February 17 and a $228 million follow‑on contract for the Iron Fist active‑protective system for U.S. Army Bradley IFV upgrades. Together, these deals illustrate a robust pipeline and sustained demand for Elbit’s land‑systems portfolio.

With the new contract, Elbit continues to strengthen its position as a leading provider of integrated land systems to international customers, while the recurring revenue and backlog growth provide a solid foundation for future earnings.
