Flutter Entertainment’s FanDuel platform launched PokerStars exclusively in Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania on April 1 2026, introducing a dedicated poker app and desktop site for the three states. The launch includes two $500,000 guaranteed Sunday Million tournaments and a $150,000 guaranteed ‘No Sweat’ series, giving players access to larger prize pools and a broader selection of cash games and tournaments.

By merging player liquidity across the three states, the partnership creates one of the largest regulated online poker networks in North America. The unified network allows for bigger games, higher prize pools, and a more dynamic tournament schedule, positioning the combined brand to compete more effectively against rivals such as BetMGM Poker and WSOP.com.

The move expands FanDuel’s iGaming portfolio beyond its existing sportsbook and casino offerings, giving Flutter Entertainment a stronger foothold in the U.S. poker segment. The consolidation also streamlines operations, reduces regulatory fragmentation, and leverages FanDuel’s established market reach to accelerate player acquisition and engagement.

The launch addresses the long‑standing fragmentation of PokerStars’ U.S. operations, particularly the delayed integration of Pennsylvania into its shared liquidity pool. By aligning with Michigan’s participation in the Multi‑State Internet Gaming Agreement and New Jersey’s regulatory framework, the partnership removes a key barrier to a fully integrated network and enhances competitive positioning in the fragmented U.S. market.

Aaron Dugan, General Manager of PokerStars at FanDuel, said, “The launch of PokerStars exclusively on FanDuel brings together two of the most iconic names in gaming and represents a major step forward for online poker in North America.” He added, “By combining PokerStars' industry‑leading poker experience with FanDuel's scale and reach, we're able to deliver bigger games, larger prize pools and a more dynamic experience.”

The partnership is expected to serve as a springboard for further expansion into other regulated U.S. markets and into Ontario, Canada later in 2026, potentially increasing Flutter’s overall revenue and market share in the growing online gambling sector.
