Flywire announced a new partnership with Simovative GmbH that embeds its global payment network into Simovative’s academyFIVE Campus Management System, a platform used by more than 70 higher‑education institutions across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The integration places Flywire’s payment engine directly inside academyFIVE’s Finance module, allowing institutions to generate invoices, accept tuition and fee payments, and reconcile transactions from a single student self‑service portal. The embedded solution eliminates the need for separate payment gateways, streamlines compliance with local regulations, and reduces administrative overhead for both schools and students.

The deal gives Flywire a strategic foothold in the DACH region, a market that attracts a growing number of international students and drives cross‑border tuition flows. By partnering with a widely adopted CaMS, Flywire gains access to a large, regulated customer base and positions itself to capture a larger share of the region’s tuition‑payment market, which is estimated to exceed €10 billion annually.

Flywire’s management highlighted that the partnership aligns with its broader diversification strategy, which has focused on expanding beyond the traditional “Big 4” education markets. The added client base and geographic reach are expected to accelerate payment volume growth and reinforce Flywire’s value proposition as a platform‑enabled payments provider across multiple verticals.

Torsten Fürbringer, Managing Director of Simovative, said the collaboration “leverages Flywire’s global payment network to deliver fast, convenient, and compliant payments for students worldwide, while addressing country‑specific regulations and preferences.” The partnership signals Flywire’s continued focus on strategic alliances that deepen its presence in high‑growth education markets.
