Foremost Clean Energy Ltd. announced a 5,000‑metre diamond‑drilling program at its Hatchet Lake Uranium Project in the eastern Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan, with operations slated to begin in mid‑February. The program will concentrate on the Tuning Fork target area, where the company’s 2025 winter drill program produced a new uranium discovery, and will also target the Beta Grid and Richardson SE zones identified through updated geophysical interpretation.

The discovery hole TF‑25‑16, drilled during the 2025 winter program, intersected 0.87 % U₃O₈ over 0.45 m and a broader 6.2‑m interval averaging 0.10 % U₃O₈. The follow‑up program will step‑out and infill around this discovery to test continuity, refine structural controls, and assess the potential for additional high‑grade mineralization.

Hatchet Lake sits in the Athabasca Basin, a world‑class high‑grade uranium district. Foremost holds more than 330,000 acres of uranium‑rich acreage in the basin, and its option agreement with Denison Mines provides technical expertise and the possibility of earning interests in the property. The partnership strengthens the company’s technical framework and positions it to capitalize on the basin’s proven geology.

Foremost’s exploration runway is fully funded, with a $9 million program announced for 2026 and recent engagement of RedChip Companies to lead investor relations. The 5,000‑metre program aligns with the company’s strategy to secure a robust uranium feedstock for the growing nuclear energy market and to accelerate resource definition for long‑term growth.

Investors welcomed the announcement amid uranium prices near US$100 per pound, reflecting confidence in the project’s potential to accelerate resource definition and support the company’s long‑term growth strategy.
