GCL Global Holdings announced that its publishing arm, 4Divinity Pte. Ltd., has secured a distribution and publishing agreement for the pirate‑survival adventure game Windrose, covering all Asian territories except Japan. The deal gives 4Divinity responsibility for marketing, publishing, and activation‑code sales, while the developer retains control of development and global distribution rights.

The agreement positions 4Divinity to lead the launch of Windrose, a title that has already generated significant buzz. During Steam Next Fest, the game attracted more than 850,000 players to its demo and secured the seventh spot on Steam’s wish‑list list, with some sources reporting over 1 million wish‑lists. The game’s early‑access release is set for April 14, 2026.

The partnership expands GCL’s publishing footprint and signals a strategic shift beyond a distribution‑only model. GCL’s recent $10 million investment in 4Divinity and a $25 million PIPE in 2025 underscore the company’s commitment to scaling its publishing operations.

Group CEO Sebastian Toke said the energy around Windrose has been remarkable and that the partnership will help deliver the adventure to players across Asia. The deal is expected to create a new revenue stream for GCL’s publishing segment, potentially driving future growth.

The agreement also comes amid a Nasdaq deficiency notice for GCL, but the company remains focused on expanding its Asian market presence.
