GCT Semiconductor Holding, Inc. (NYSE: GCTS) announced that it will exhibit its latest 5G and Internet‑of‑Things (IoT) technologies at Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona, Spain, from March 2 to March 5. The company will occupy Booth Hall 5, 5E82, and will host partners and customers to unveil new 5G modules, non‑terrestrial network (NTN) solutions, enhanced mobile broadband (eMMB) and other IoT products.

The showcase will feature GCT’s integrated RF‑modem system‑on‑chip (SoC) that combines radio frequency, baseband processing and power management into a single package, targeting low‑power IoT and customer premises equipment (CPE) markets. Partners such as Skylo, Movandi, Smawave, Gemtek, TMY Technology and Unitac will join the event, each expanding their 5G module and IoT solution portfolios.

GCT aims to accelerate adoption of its technology in fixed wireless access, smart mobility and 5G‑to‑space applications, reinforcing its 2025‑2026 5G transition program. CEO John Schlaefer said, "MWC remains the premier global stage for wireless innovation, and we're excited to demonstrate how our newest 5G chipsets and modules are enabling the next wave of connected devices."

The announcement follows a challenging Q3 2025, when GCT reported a net loss of $13.85 million on revenue of $0.4 million, missing analyst estimates. The company’s liquidity remains tight, with a low cash balance and reliance on external financing, underscoring the importance of the MWC showcase for driving future revenue growth.

Strategic partnerships, such as the collaboration with Skylo and a licensing agreement with a major satellite communications provider, are expected to broaden GCT’s reach in 5G‑to‑space and IoT markets. These deals, combined with the new product portfolio, signal a concerted effort to capture a growing share of the 5G‑IoT market despite ongoing financial headwinds.

The event marks a key operational milestone for GCT, positioning the company to showcase its latest technology to a global audience and to reinforce its commitment to high‑performance, power‑efficient solutions that accelerate 5G adoption worldwide.
