Gen Digital has partnered with xAI to embed xAI’s Grok frontier models into its Norton Neo AI Browser and AI Assistant, adding advanced reasoning, coding, and image‑generation capabilities to the company’s flagship AI‑native products.

The collaboration will allow Gen Digital’s AI Foundry to leverage xAI’s compute, data, and technology, while the company’s Agent Trust Hub will enforce runtime safety, privacy, and enterprise‑grade protections. The result is a privacy‑preserving AI assistant that can answer questions and take real‑world actions in a secure environment.

"As agentic AI systems grow increasingly capable, safely and effectively delivering intelligence to everyday consumers requires robust trust and security infrastructure," said Howie Xu, Chief AI & Innovation Officer. "Through our co‑architect partnership, our xAI‑powered consumer products will utilize Grok’s frontier models to not only answer questions but also take real‑world action in a secure and trusted environment."

Gen Digital’s recent Q3 FY26 results showed strong revenue growth and a raised full‑year guidance, underscoring the company’s confidence in its AI strategy. The partnership aligns with that trajectory, positioning Gen Digital to capture additional value from its AI‑native consumer brands.

Norton Neo, which entered early access in May 2025 and launched globally in December 2025, will now feature Grok’s advanced reasoning and coding abilities. xAI’s Grok models are known for speed in coding and real‑time information access, complementing Gen Digital’s focus on secure, user‑centric AI experiences.
