Gen Digital and Vercel have announced a partnership that will embed Gen’s Agent Trust Hub (ATH) into Vercel’s skills.sh platform, an open directory for reusable AI agent skills. The integration will automatically assign a risk rating—Safe, Low Risk, High Risk, or Critical Risk—to every skill published on skills.sh, providing developers and users with an immediate assessment of a skill’s security posture.

The collaboration positions Gen Digital as a key player in the rapidly expanding AI‑agent market. By placing independent verification directly into the skills discovery experience, Gen Digital extends its Gen Stack’s data and AI capabilities into the developer ecosystem, creating a new layer of trust for autonomous agents. The partnership also gives Gen Digital a foothold in a space where developers increasingly rely on reusable skills, potentially generating verification fees or premium security services for enterprise customers.

Gen Digital’s Q3 FY26 results—revenue of $1.24 billion and EPS of $0.64—beat analyst expectations and led the company to raise its full‑year guidance. The partnership aligns with Gen’s broader AI strategy, which includes the Norton Genie AI assistant and the MoneyLion acquisition. Management highlighted that the partnership is part of a broader push to monetize AI‑driven security solutions and to strengthen Gen’s competitive moat.

"AI agents are becoming powerful digital actors," said Howie Xu, Gen Digital’s Chief AI & Innovation Officer. "Trust must be built into the ecosystem itself. By partnering with Vercel, we are embedding independent verification directly into the skills layer, helping innovation and safety scale together." Andrew Qu, Vercel’s Chief of Software, added, "Developers want to move quickly, and users want confidence. This partnership with Gen’s Agent Trust Hub helps ensure that as AI capabilities grow, so does transparency."

Investors are watching the partnership as part of Gen Digital’s broader AI strategy. While the market has not yet fully priced in the potential revenue streams from verification fees, the collaboration signals a strategic shift toward monetizing security services in the AI‑agent ecosystem and reinforces Gen Digital’s position as a trusted provider of AI safety solutions.
