CGI Inc. has broadened its alliance with Google Cloud to include the deployment of Gemini Enterprise, Google’s next‑generation agentic AI platform, through a multi‑year agreement that will embed the technology across CGI’s managed services and business‑process offerings.

Under the deal, CGI will train tens of thousands of its consultants on Gemini Enterprise and co‑invest in joint go‑to‑market initiatives such as innovation workshops, training hackathons, and scaling delivery via its global delivery network. The partnership builds on CGI’s earlier success with Google Code Assist and leverages Gemini 3 and Antigravity to enable clients to create, share, and run AI agents on a secure, enterprise‑grade platform.

The expansion is a strategic move to accelerate CGI’s AI‑enabled managed services flywheel. By integrating Gemini Enterprise, CGI can deliver higher productivity gains and faster resolution times, reinforcing its outcome‑based pricing model and strengthening its competitive position against larger consulting firms that rely on traditional engagements.

Clients will benefit from AI agents that can autonomously orchestrate tasks across data sources, with the platform’s pre‑built connectors simplifying integration with common enterprise applications. CGI plans to roll out training for its consultants over the next 12 to 18 months, ensuring that the workforce is equipped to design, deploy, and support these agents at scale.

CGI’s recent financial performance shows consistent revenue growth—$15.91 billion in fiscal 2025, up 8.4% YoY—though net earnings have slipped, reflecting margin pressures and investment in new capabilities. The partnership with Google Cloud is positioned to drive future revenue growth and improve profitability through AI‑driven efficiencies, leveraging CGI’s strong financial foundation to support the initiative.

Dave Henderson, CGI’s Chief Technology Officer, said the expanded relationship “is about accelerating the delivery of outcomes with Agentic AI—not just pilots—as our clients want AI that is enterprise‑grade, secure, reliable and measurable.” Oliver Parker, Vice President of Global Generative AI Go‑to‑Market at Google Cloud, added that Gemini Enterprise will become a “front door to AI for CGI and its clients, bringing the best of Google AI to orchestrate complex work across entire organizations.”
