Expanse Studios, a subsidiary of Meridian Holdings Inc., announced the launch of its proprietary promotional tool, Bonus Bet, on March 4 2026. The feature is designed to address operator retention challenges by giving partners a retention tool that improves the economics of promotional spend.

Bonus Bet is integrated across Expanse’s 65 titles (as of December 10 2025) and is available to more than 1,300 operator partners. It can be deployed through existing Expanse infrastructure without requiring operator development resources, giving partners a competitive differentiator that is not available through conventional content licensing arrangements.

By providing operators with a tool that improves promotional spend efficiency, Expanse aims to increase engagement and improve economics for its B2B customers. The move expands the studio’s value proposition beyond game content, potentially driving incremental revenue and strengthening relationships with its extensive operator network.

The launch follows Meridian Holdings Inc.’s (formerly Golden Matrix Group) completion of a 1‑for‑12 reverse stock split and rebranding on March 3 2026 to meet Nasdaq’s minimum bid price requirement and align its corporate identity with its main operating subsidiary, Meridianbet Group. Rich Christensen, CFO, said, "We believe that this Reverse Stock Split represents a strategic capital structure optimisation that aligns GMGI with best practices for public companies as well as gaming industry standards. By consolidating our shares, we are bringing our capital structure in line with companies of our scale and revenue profile, while seeking to position GMGI to benefit from broader access to the capital markets, which our business fundamentals warrant."

Damjan Stamenkovic, CEO of Expanse Studios, said, "Bonus Bet addresses a documented operator pain point in promotional economics. This gives our operator partners a retention tool that creates competitive differentiation while improving economics on promotional spend." The feature reflects Expanse’s broader strategy of developing its own intellectual property and expanding its B2B offerings to meet the industry’s demand for innovative promotional tools.
