Gorilla Technology Group increased its strategic investment in Bengaluru‑based Astrikos.AI, deepening a partnership that already integrates Astrikos’ real‑time infrastructure intelligence into Gorilla’s video intelligence stack, smart‑city architecture, and GPU‑enabled data‑center offerings.
The investment follows an initial stake announced in December 2025 and includes the appointment of Deborah Hudson, Gorilla’s managing partner for Gorilla Tech Capital, to Astrikos’ board of directors. The move is intended to provide active strategic oversight and align governance as the two companies expand joint commercial opportunities across India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and the United States.
Gorilla’s broader strategy is to assemble a full‑stack sovereign AI infrastructure platform. By combining Gorilla’s edge AI capabilities, quantum‑safe networking, and GPU deployments with Astrikos’ real‑time operational intelligence, the companies aim to offer a more complete lifecycle for modern AI deployments. The partnership is positioned to capture high‑growth markets, including India’s projected $17 billion AI market by 2027.
Gorilla reported record revenue of $101.4 million for the full year 2025, a 35.7 % year‑over‑year increase, and a significant reduction in operating losses. The company’s Q4 2025 results showed revenue of $18.3 million, up 109 % year‑over‑year, with adjusted EBITDA of $5.16 million and adjusted net income of $4.47 million, underscoring the financial strength that underpins the new investment.
CEO Jay Chandan said, “Our increased investment in Astrikos reflects exactly where the market is going and where Gorilla intends to win.” He added, “India’s data centre industry is already sizeable and growing fast, with capacity expected to increase significantly over the next several years.” Astrikos CEO Chinmay Hegde noted, “The investment provides the ability to accelerate that vision and expand our reach across key markets, including the United States, India, and the broader Middle East.” He added, “Together, we are building a differentiated offering that combines infrastructure, security, and operational intelligence in a way that is relevant to customers looking for intelligent, secure, and scalable platforms for growth.”
While the financial terms of the increased investment were not disclosed, the partnership is expected to enhance Gorilla’s competitive positioning in the AI infrastructure market and accelerate the deployment of its sovereign AI platform across multiple regions.
