GXO Logistics inaugurated a 20,000‑square‑meter warehouse in Sant’Antonino, Canton of Ticino, on March 31, 2026. The new hub is the company’s first new facility in Switzerland since its 2021 spin‑off and expands GXO’s continental footprint, positioning the firm to serve European customers more quickly and efficiently.
The Sant’Antonino site features 55,000 square meters of total floor space, 20 loading bays, and a fully automated system that includes 14,000 tote positions, 600 pallet locations, and 60 packing stations. Solar panels covering the roof generate an estimated 800,000 kWh per year, and the facility holds LEED Platinum and ISO 14001 certifications, underscoring GXO’s commitment to low‑carbon operations.
Strategically located between Northern and Southern Europe, the hub connects to Swiss Post’s main sorting center in Härkingen via a rail link that takes about two hours. This link enhances GXO’s ability to move goods across the continent, strengthening its competitive position in the European contract‑logistics market.
GXO’s Q4 2025 results, released on February 10, 2026, showed record revenue of $3.5 billion—up 7.9% year‑over‑year—and a full‑year 2025 revenue of $13.2 billion, up 12.5% YoY. Adjusted earnings per share of $0.87 beat analyst expectations of $0.83, a $0.04 or 4.8% beat, driven by strong demand and disciplined cost management. Management highlighted that the company’s fundamentals are strong and that it is taking strategic actions to accelerate growth and expand margins.
The Sant’Antonino hub is a tangible manifestation of GXO’s growth strategy, providing the scale and automation needed to support higher operating margins. By expanding its network in a key European corridor and investing in sustainable infrastructure, GXO is positioning itself to capture new business wins and reinforce its status as a preferred logistics partner for global brands.
"This future‑forward facility reflects GXO's growth momentum and our commitment to being the strategic logistics partner of choice for the world's leading brands. Built with advanced technology and automation at its core -- and sustainability embedded into daily operations -- this site exemplifies our customer‑first approach and the innovation we're driving across our global network," said Patrick Kelleher, CEO of GXO. "We delivered record revenue in both the fourth quarter and the full year, with organic growth in every region, affirming the value we are delivering for customers and the resilience of our model. Our fundamentals are strong, and we are taking strategic actions across the organization to accelerate growth and expand margins."
"Growth today means designing environmentally efficient sites that optimize flows, reduce waste, and support a sustainable operating model. This balance is central to how we are developing our presence in Switzerland," added Alessandro Renzo, Managing Director of GXO Italy and Switzerland.
