Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc. signed 10 new Spark by Hilton hotels in India, marking a milestone in the company’s mid‑market expansion strategy. The new properties will open in Bengaluru, Goa, Jaipur, Nashik, Mathura, Pune, Rajkot and Hyderabad, covering both metro and non‑metro markets.

The deal is executed in partnership with Olive Hospitality, a tech‑enabled operating platform that is part of the Embassy Group. Olive Hospitality has already signed 4,472 keys across 20 cities in 10 states as of February 2026, and its platform is designed to accelerate conversions and deliver a high‑quality guest experience from day one.

The 10‑hotel signing is part of a broader agreement signed in November 2024 to launch 150 Spark by Hilton franchised hotels across India. The Spark brand, launched in 2023, is positioned as a category‑disrupting, value‑oriented offering that blends affordability with Hilton’s hallmark reliability.

Clarence Tan, Senior Vice President, Development, Asia Pacific, said, “These signings demonstrate our belief in India’s hugely untapped mid‑market segment and allow us a great opportunity to bring a wider network of new owners and guests into the Hilton ecosystem. We are targeting a mix of metro and non‑metro locations to debut these hotels that will provide a new level of hospitality to India’s emerging domestic traveler.”

Alan Watts, President, Asia Pacific, added, “This landmark signing with Olive by Embassy underscores Hilton’s bold ambition in and long‑term commitment to South Asia. Spark by Hilton will address a gap in the Indian market, offering affordable stays without compromise, and capturing unmet demand for value and consistency across major and smaller cities. Not only will this partnership set the stage for record‑breaking growth, but it also positions Hilton to achieve a commanding presence in one of the world’s largest lodging markets.”

The expansion complements Hilton’s broader India strategy, which includes agreements to launch 75 Hampton by Hilton hotels with NILE Hospitality and 125 Hampton by Hilton hotels with Royal Orchid Hotels. Together, these initiatives aim to bring the brand to more than 400 operating hotels in India, reinforcing Hilton’s position in a rapidly growing mid‑market segment driven by rising mobility, infrastructure investment and expanding commercial hubs.
