Acer announced on March 10 2026 the launch of a new TravelMate Copilot+ laptop line that incorporates Intel’s latest Core Ultra Series 3 processors with Intel vPro technology, built on Intel’s 18A process node.

The four models—TravelMate P4 14 AI, TravelMate P4 Spin 14 AI, TravelMate P2 16 AI, and TravelMate P2 14 AI—feature on‑device AI acceleration, up to 64 GB of DDR5 memory, and up to 1 TB of PCIe Gen4 NVMe storage. Availability is slated for North America and EMEA in June 2026, with Australia receiving the P4 14 AI and P4 Spin 14 AI in May 2026; Intel vPro options will be added later.

Intel’s Core Ultra Series 3 processors are the first to use the 18A 1.8‑nanometer node, employing RibbonFET gate‑all‑around transistors and PowerVia backside power delivery to deliver higher performance and power efficiency. The new laptops position Intel against AMD’s Ryzen AI 400 Series and ARM‑based solutions, offering a commercial platform that blends AI‑enabled performance with enterprise‑grade security and manageability.

James Lin, General Manager of Notebooks at Acer, stated: “As IT and operations departments across sectors explore how AI can help their organization, Acer is committed to offering a dedicated product portfolio and leveraging our commercial expertise to accelerate AI transformation in the way that is right for them. To accomplish this, Acer's new TravelMate lineup is purpose‑built for AI‑powered performance, streamlined productivity, and multilayered enterprise‑grade security.” Jen Larson, General Manager of Commercial Client Segments at Intel, commented: “This new Acer TravelMate lineup leverages Intel's most advanced Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors with Intel vPro to offer commercial PC experiences that are purpose‑built for business, not repurposed for it. Crafted for real‑world performance, the new platform delivers enterprise‑grade security for PCs, simplified IT management, and optimized diagnostics and AI‑enhanced support features right out of the box, ready for businesses to scale across the fleet, and into the future.”

The launch gives Acer a foothold in the AI‑ready business laptop market, targeting SMBs and public‑sector customers who need local AI processing, long battery life, and robust security. For Intel, the partnership demonstrates the viability of its 18A‑based Core Ultra Series 3 in a commercial setting, reinforcing its strategy to regain leadership in the AI‑PC segment amid competition from AMD and ARM‑based platforms.
