Interparfums Secures 20‑Year Global License for David Beckham Fragrances

Interparfums, Inc. announced a 20‑year worldwide license agreement with David Beckham that will give the company full global responsibility for the creation, development, production and distribution of Beckham fragrances effective April 1 2028.

The agreement is expected to generate more than $50 million in annual sales in the first years of operation and will launch a new signature fragrance by the end of 2029, adding a high‑profile, lifestyle‑oriented brand to Interparfums’ luxury portfolio.

Interparfums’ record 2025 net sales of $1.49 billion and a first‑nine‑month gross margin of 64.4 % underscore the company’s asset‑light licensing model, which relies on royalty payments rather than capital‑intensive brand ownership. The Beckham deal follows recent additions such as Goutal and Off‑White and a 20‑year Nautica license, all sourced through Authentic Brands Group (ABG).

Jean Madar, Chairman and CEO, said the partnership “further strengthens our relationship with Authentic Brands Group” and will blend Beckham’s entrepreneurial influence with Interparfums’ fragrance expertise to “inspire a richer world of style and self‑expression through scent.” Beckham added that he is “delighted to partner with Interparfums to evolve my fragrances for the long‑term,” while ABG’s Jamie Salter highlighted Interparfums’ success with GUESS as evidence of the company’s capability to deliver “creativity, quality and long‑term value.”

The Beckham license expands Interparfums’ reach beyond its traditional luxury‑brand focus into a mass‑market‑appeal segment, complementing its existing prestige brands such as Coach, Jimmy Choo, Montblanc and Kate Spade. The deal also replaces Coty’s previous management of the Beckham fragrance line, positioning Interparfums to leverage Beckham’s global brand equity and ABG’s portfolio management expertise for sustained growth.
