Jacobs Solutions announced that it has been selected to provide a five‑year Professional Services Framework for the Sizewell C nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast of England. The framework, which will run through 2030, covers program management, design, and engineering support for the twin‑reactor plant.

Sizewell C is a 3.2 GW facility that is expected to operate for 60 years and supply low‑carbon electricity to roughly six million homes. The project is a near‑replica of Hinkley Point C and is backed by a £14.2 billion government investment announced in June 2025.

Jacobs brings more than 60 years of nuclear experience to the engagement, having supported the global nuclear industry and worked on major projects such as Hinkley Point C and Sellafield. The win aligns with Jacobs’ strategic shift toward high‑margin, solutions‑based services and reinforces its growing presence in the nuclear and low‑carbon infrastructure sectors.

The contract adds a significant, multi‑year revenue stream to Jacobs’ backlog. In the fourth quarter of 2025, the company reported revenue of $3.2 billion, adjusted earnings per share of $1.75, adjusted EBITDA of $324 million, and a backlog of $23.1 billion. The new framework is expected to contribute to both revenue and backlog growth over the next five years.

Bob Pragada, Jacobs’ chair and CEO, said the company is entering FY26 with multiple secular tailwinds, a clear line of sight to continued synergistic expansion with PA Consulting, and a record backlog that positions it for profitable growth. He highlighted the importance of the Sizewell C engagement as a showcase of Jacobs’ expertise in large‑scale low‑carbon projects.

The win strengthens Jacobs’ competitive position in the UK nuclear market and signals its ability to secure large, complex projects that align with the country’s net‑zero goals. It also demonstrates the company’s capability to deliver integrated professional services across design, engineering, and program management for high‑profile infrastructure projects.

Overall, the Sizewell C contract underscores Jacobs’ strategic focus on low‑carbon infrastructure and its capacity to generate stable, long‑term revenue streams from major public‑sector projects, reinforcing its trajectory toward higher margins and expanded market share in the nuclear and clean‑energy space.
