JFB Construction announced it has secured a $1.5 million contract to build a Prison Island adventure facility in Indianapolis, marking the company’s first U.S. location outside its Florida base.
The 15,000‑square‑foot facility is slated for completion in the second quarter of 2026. The contract, won in September 2025, adds a new franchise partner and expands JFB’s commercial construction portfolio beyond Florida.
The deal comes as JFB’s overall revenue has fallen 28.7% in 2024, and earnings have dropped 97% from the prior year. The new contract represents a modest but meaningful revenue source amid a broader downturn, and signals the company’s intent to diversify its project mix.
CEO Joseph F. Basile said the Prison Island project is an “important win” and that JFB aims to become the preferred contractor for future U.S. expansions of the brand, which currently operates only two U.S. sites.
JFB has recently secured other sizable contracts, including an $11 million custom‑home project in Jupiter, Florida, and a $100 million high‑school construction project. The Indianapolis franchise adds to a growing list of high‑profile projects that could help stabilize the company’s revenue stream.
