JPMorgan Chase announced that it has joined the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) “The Olympic Partner” (TOP) program, becoming the first global banking partner in Olympic history. The partnership covers the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games and the French Alps 2030 Winter Games, giving JPMorgan exclusive global marketing rights and a platform to engage athletes, fans and businesses worldwide.

The deal places JPMorgan at the center of the IOC’s highest‑tier sponsorship program, which traditionally includes a handful of global brands. While most TOP agreements span four or more Games, JPMorgan’s commitment to the 2028 and 2030 events signals a focused, high‑impact strategy that aligns with the bank’s long‑term growth objectives and its strong presence in the United States and Europe.

JPMorgan’s involvement is expected to drive cross‑selling opportunities across its consumer, corporate and investment banking divisions. The bank will provide financial services, sponsorship support and technology solutions to the Olympic and Paralympic movements, and will also run financial health workshops for athletes through the IOC’s Athlete365 platform, reinforcing its commitment to athlete financial well‑being and community impact.

The partnership also positions JPMorgan alongside other major sponsors such as NBCUniversal, which is collaborating on multi‑platform coverage of the LA28 Games. By joining the TOP program, JPMorgan gains a unique competitive advantage in a sponsorship landscape that has seen several banks exit the Olympic arena, making this a significant differentiator for the bank’s brand and market positioning.

Kirsty Coventry, IOC President, said, “JPMorgan Chase is the first Global Partner from the banking sector in Olympic history, and we are proud to welcome them to the Worldwide Olympic Partner programme. This partnership reflects our shared values of ambition, excellence and trust, and will support the Olympic Movement and sport around the world.”

Jamie Dimon, JPMorgan Chase Chairman and CEO, added, “We are honored to be a Worldwide Partner of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, supporting athletes, fans, businesses and communities around the globe. Olympians and Paralympians are more than athletes — they are our customers, clients and employees, and their dreams extend beyond the Games.”
