KBR announced it has secured two firm‑fixed‑price task orders totaling $103 million under the United States Space Force – Decision Support for Headquarters contract. The orders will be executed in Chantilly, Virginia, and will provide data analysis and specialized technical expertise to support strategic decision‑making, capability development and personnel readiness across the Space Force and the Department of the Air Force over a three‑year period.
The award represents a significant new revenue source for KBR’s Mission Technology Solutions (MTS) segment, which was renamed from Government Solutions to reflect its focus on space, defense and national security. The $103 million contract adds to the segment’s growing portfolio and provides a predictable, long‑term cash‑flow stream that aligns with KBR’s strategy to spin off MTS into a standalone company by mid‑2026.
The contract follows a string of recent wins that underscore KBR’s expanding footprint in the space and defense arena. Earlier this year, the company secured a $77 million Space Force contract for digital engineering and assured communications, and it is in talks for a potential $149 million Air Force contract. These deals, combined with the new $103 million order, reinforce KBR’s position as a trusted partner for high‑value government work.
"We are proud to continue our partnership with the U.S. Space Force, delivering the critical analysis and technical expertise needed to drive strategic decisions and accelerate capability development," said Stuart Bradie, KBR president and CEO. Bradie emphasized that the new contract strengthens KBR’s long‑term financial outlook and supports the company’s broader strategy of unlocking value through the separation of its technology and mission‑focused businesses.
