KBR’s Mission Technology Solutions (MTS) announced a $510 million Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) multi‑award contract with the Office of the Secretary of War’s Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation (OSW CAPE) Joint Data Support (JDS) Division. The award, which will be executed primarily at the Pentagon and in Alexandria, Virginia, spans five years and combines firm‑fixed‑price, labor‑hour and time‑and‑materials pricing structures.

The contract adds a substantial, recurring revenue stream to KBR’s portfolio and expands MTS’s presence in defense analytics. It is one of seven companies selected for the JDS contract, a role previously held by Leidos and Tyto Athene, and signals a broader shift toward data‑driven decision support for the Department of the Army. The win aligns with KBR’s strategy to build a global defense, national security, and space business focused on emerging technologies and mission expertise.

KBR has been realigning its portfolio, renaming its Government Solutions segment to Mission Technology Solutions to better reflect its capabilities. The company also plans to spin off MTS into a separate, independent entity, and this contract is a key milestone in that transition, demonstrating the segment’s ability to secure large, long‑term government contracts.

Stuart Bradie, KBR President and CEO, said, "KBR is dedicated to equipping the DoW with mission‑critical insights needed to drive timely, expedited and well‑informed decisions. We stand ready to apply our accelerated analytic capabilities to strengthen JDS and support the department's most important strategic priorities." The statement underscores the company’s confidence in its analytic capabilities and its commitment to supporting the Army’s strategic priorities.

The award reinforces KBR’s competitive position in the defense analytics market and provides a stable, long‑term revenue base that supports the company’s broader growth objectives. It also positions MTS to capture additional opportunities in the rapidly expanding defense data and analytics space, further strengthening KBR’s strategic trajectory.
