Kornit Digital Ltd. has agreed to acquire PrintFactory, a Netherlands‑based cloud‑native workflow, color management and production automation platform, in a deal that is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026. The transaction adds a global install base of more than 10,000 users and a team of seasoned workflow and color‑management experts to Kornit’s portfolio, enabling the company to deliver a seamless end‑to‑end solution for brands and manufacturers.
The acquisition is a strategic move to accelerate Kornit’s digital transformation of the fashion and textile industry. By integrating PrintFactory’s automation capabilities with Kornit’s proprietary wet‑on‑wet printing and NeoPigment inks, the company can lower the barrier for mid‑size screen printers to transition to digital, thereby expanding its addressable market in the $4.5 billion short‑run apparel segment. The deal also supports Kornit’s All‑Inclusive Click (AIC) model, which provides a pay‑as‑you‑produce platform that eliminates upfront capital investment and delivers consistent quality across distributed production sites.
Kornit’s 2025 full‑year revenue of $208.2 million, a 2% year‑over‑year increase, and Q4 2025 revenue of $58.9 million demonstrate the company’s steady growth trajectory. The acquisition is not expected to have a material near‑term impact on revenue or earnings, but it is positioned to strengthen Kornit’s recurring revenue stream, which was $25 million in annualized recurring revenue (ARR) by the end of 2025. The transaction also adds PrintFactory’s estimated $4.45 million annual revenue and $14.3 million valuation, further diversifying Kornit’s revenue mix.
"This acquisition is about building the digital infrastructure the fashion industry needs to move from analog production to agile, on‑demand manufacturing. By connecting demand generation, production workflow and manufacturing through one integrated platform, we are accelerating the industry's transition to a new production model," said Ronen Samuel, CEO of Kornit Digital. "For more than three decades, PrintFactory has focused on solving real workflow and production challenges for professional print operations. Joining Kornit opens an exciting new chapter. Kornit's global reach, innovation culture and platform vision will accelerate our roadmap and significantly expand the value we deliver to customers worldwide," added Erik Strik, CEO of PrintFactory.
The acquisition aligns with Kornit’s broader platform strategy, which includes KornitX for demand generation, PrintFactory for production workflow and color infrastructure, and Kornit’s printing technologies for the manufacturing layer. By combining these elements, Kornit can offer a fully integrated digital textile production ecosystem that spans the entire value chain, from design to finished garment. The move also positions Kornit to compete more effectively against traditional screen‑printing systems and other digital textile players such as Epson, Mimaki, Durst Group and EFI Reggiani.
The digital printed textile market is projected to grow from $4.3 billion in 2022 to $7.9 billion by 2026, underscoring the long‑term upside of Kornit’s platform strategy. The acquisition of PrintFactory, with its global install base and expertise in workflow automation, is expected to accelerate Kornit’s penetration of the short‑run apparel market and reinforce its recurring revenue model, providing a stronger foundation for future growth.
