Linde plc announced that Bisedge, a pan‑African green logistics provider, will serve as the exclusive dealer for its Material Handling products in South Africa, a role that takes effect on April 1 2026.

The move follows Linde’s previous exclusive distributor, Eazi Access, and positions Bisedge to manage sales, service and support for forklifts, pallet jacks and related equipment across the country. Bisedge’s established network of more than 1,250 employees in South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya and Tanzania, and its experience in electric‑powered material handling, dovetails with Linde’s focus on clean‑energy solutions and efficient supply chains.

Linde’s Q4 2025 results provide context for the partnership. The company reported revenue of $4.14 billion, up 6.3 % year‑over‑year, and an adjusted earnings per share of $4.20, well above analyst expectations. Management guided for 2026 adjusted EPS of $17.40 to $17.90, reflecting confidence in continued demand for its industrial gases and engineering services. The new dealer arrangement is part of Linde’s broader strategy to generate incremental revenue from emerging markets and reinforce its defensive growth trajectory.

South Africa’s industrial and retail sectors are experiencing robust demand, and the country’s push toward electrification and sustainability creates a favorable environment for electric material handling solutions. Bisedge’s “equipment‑as‑a‑service” model and its track record of partnering with Linde in other African markets give the partnership a strong foundation for capturing market share in a region where Linde previously relied on a different distributor.

The partnership is expected to expand Linde’s distribution footprint, enhance service capabilities, and generate incremental revenue from a new geographic segment. By aligning with a green logistics provider, Linde also strengthens its sustainability credentials, positioning the company to meet evolving customer expectations for low‑emission equipment and support its long‑term growth in emerging markets.
