LightPath Technologies announced a partnership with CableFinder that will expand its distribution network and streamline access to its fiber connectivity solutions. The integration is slated to go live early in the summer of 2026, following the announcement made on April 15 2026.

LightPath operates an owned and operated fiber network that spans 12,100 route miles, connects more than 17,500 lit locations, and serves over 190 data centers and subsea cable landing stations across 10 major U.S. metro markets. CableFinder provides an API‑driven marketplace that enables technology service distributors and their partners to quote and contract for connectivity services. "Adding Lightpath to CableFinder gives our partners access to one of the most densely built owned fiber networks across 11 U.S. markets," said Mike Trede, managing partner at CableFinder. "We're building toward a platform where partners can move from a serviceability check to order submission without leaving the workflow. Lightpath is exactly the kind of carrier that makes that experience worth having," Trede added. Doug Turtz, chief revenue officer at LightPath, said, "We are excited to partner with CableFinder as a way to further extend LightPath's network to a broader set of customers via our channel program."

The partnership aligns with LightPath’s broader strategy of expanding its network to meet the growing demand for AI‑grade, low‑latency connectivity. The company has been adding fiber in key markets such as New York, Boston, Miami, Phoenix, and Columbus, and the CableFinder integration will make these assets more accessible to channel partners and end customers. By embedding LightPath’s services into CableFinder’s marketplace, LightPath can shorten sales cycles, accelerate customer acquisition, and compete more effectively against other carriers that already have established distribution channels.

The move also strengthens LightPath’s competitive position. With CableFinder’s platform, LightPath’s services become more visible and easier to procure for channel partners, helping the company capture market share in a landscape where AI, cloud, and hyperscale workloads are driving demand for high‑capacity, low‑latency connectivity. The partnership complements LightPath’s existing channel partner program, which includes referral, real‑estate, and agent programs, and positions the company to serve a broader range of customers through a streamlined digital workflow.

The partnership reflects LightPath’s focus on AI‑grade infrastructure and its commitment to making advanced connectivity solutions available to a wider audience. By leveraging CableFinder’s marketplace, LightPath can extend its reach beyond its current customer base and tap into new opportunities in the rapidly evolving data‑center and cloud markets. The integration, expected to launch early summer 2026, is a key milestone in LightPath’s strategy to grow its network and channel presence in the United States.
