Louisiana‑Pacific Corporation announced that F. Nicholas Grasberger III will become the company’s independent Chairperson of the Board, effective February 19 2026. Grasberger, who has served on LPX’s board since 2019 and currently chairs its Compensation, Finance and Audit, and Governance and Corporate Responsibility Committees, will replace retiring Chairperson and CEO W. Bradley Southern.

Grasberger is also the Chairman, President and CEO of Enviri Corporation, bringing a strong financial background and deep familiarity with LPX’s operations. His appointment is intended to reinforce the company’s governance framework and support its long‑term strategic priorities.

Jason P. Ringblom, the current President, will assume the CEO role on February 19 and was added as a Class III director on the same date to formalize the succession plan announced on October 30 2025. The plan positions Ringblom to continue the company’s focus on engineered‑wood siding while maintaining continuity in executive leadership.

The board will now consist of eight directors, including Ringblom and seven independent directors. Ozey K. Horton Jr. and Dustan E. McCoy will retire from the board effective May 1 2026, further streamlining the board’s composition.

Louisiana‑Pacific’s core business remains engineered‑wood siding and oriented strand board (OSB). The company’s siding segment has shown resilience, with revenue up 9% in Q4 2024 driven by higher volumes and pricing. Analysts maintain a “Buy” consensus on LPX, citing strength in the siding market and a solid balance sheet, while noting headwinds in the OSB segment due to packaging volume concerns.

The leadership transition is viewed as a planned and orderly succession that should reassure investors and stakeholders about LPX’s strategic direction and governance stability.
