Lululemon Halts Online Sales of Get Low Collection Amid Sheerness Complaints

Lululemon announced on Tuesday that it has temporarily suspended e‑commerce sales of its Get Low activewear line after a wave of customer complaints about the fabric’s sheerness and sizing. The line, which debuted in late December 2025, includes leggings, tights and tank tops.

The pause follows reports that the leggings were see‑through when bent or squatted and that the knit stretched, producing larger than expected sizes. Social‑media chatter on Reddit and other platforms highlighted the issue, prompting the company to act.

The collection remains available in North American stores, but the brand has said it will review guest feedback and enhance product education before returning the line to its website. Lululemon’s management noted that the decision is part of a broader effort to maintain the technical excellence that underpins its premium pricing.

The incident comes amid a pattern of quality‑control concerns, including the 2013 Luon pants recall and the 2024 Breezethrough leggings pull. Analysts have warned that repeated issues could erode customer trust and give competitors like Alo Yoga, Vuori and Nike an opening in the athleisure market.

Lululemon’s CEO Calvin McDonald, who is set to step down on January 31, emphasized the company’s commitment to the “Power of Three × 2” growth plan and to delivering innovative products. The pause, however, signals a challenge to that narrative and may prompt investors to reassess the brand’s ability to sustain its premium positioning.

The company has not disclosed a financial impact from the pause, but the incident has already weighed on market sentiment, with analysts noting concerns about lingering quality‑control issues and their potential effect on future guidance.
