Lululemon Athletica Inc. launched a dedicated e‑commerce channel in Mexico, lululemon.mx, on April 20, 2026, adding a new digital storefront to its North American retail strategy.

The launch is part of a broader expansion plan that includes opening 15 new stores in fiscal year 2026, eight of which are in Mexico, with a target of operating more than 30 stores in the country by year‑end. Lululemon’s fiscal year ends on February 1, 2026.

The company has been building community through brand activations, including the Lululemon 10K CDMX race on March 29 that drew nearly 8,000 participants and a multi‑day ambassador summit earlier in the year.

Carla Anderson, Senior Vice President and General Manager of North America, said the launch "highlights an exciting next chapter in our North America growth journey" and that the momentum in Mexico reflects the brand’s relevance and community engagement. She also noted that "Across our North America business, we are continuing to strategically invest in the growth and evolution of our omnichannel guest experience through a combination of new and elevated stores and enhanced digital capabilities."

The expansion comes amid mixed financial results. Lululemon reported Q4 FY2025 revenue of $3.6 billion and diluted EPS of $5.01, with a 1% revenue increase but an 8.4% decline in gross profit and compressed operating margin. Guidance for Q1 FY2026 forecasts revenue of $2.4 billion and EPS of $1.63–$1.68, below consensus, indicating a cautious outlook amid North American headwinds and tariff impacts.

The Mexico e‑commerce launch and store expansion signal a strategic focus on high‑growth markets while the company navigates margin pressures and competitive intensity in North America.
