Monday.com announced the launch of a new infrastructure that allows external AI agents to sign up, authenticate, and operate directly within its platform. The update introduces a dedicated onboarding process and purpose‑built infrastructure that lets AI agents work side‑by‑side with human users on the Work OS.

The launch is a key milestone in Monday’s broader AI strategy, which already includes AI blocks, the Monday Vibe app, and the Monday Sidekick. By enabling native integration of external agents, the company aims to accelerate automation, enhance workflow efficiency, and open new monetization channels for its AI‑powered features.

The platform offers a consumption‑based pricing model for AI credits, providing customers with free credits each month and the option to purchase additional credits. As of the end of FY24, customers performed roughly 10 million AI actions—nearly a three‑fold increase quarter‑over‑quarter—demonstrating strong demand for AI‑driven productivity tools.

Security and governance remain a priority; AI agents will operate under the same enterprise‑grade security, permissions, and governance standards that protect human users. This alignment is intended to lower adoption barriers for large organizations concerned about data privacy and compliance.

Monday.com positions itself as an AI work platform rather than just a Work OS. The new infrastructure supports a wide range of AI frameworks—including OpenAI, Anthropic, Microsoft, Google, Perplexity, Cursor, Grok, LangChain, and Vertex AI—while offering an agent‑native onboarding flow that requires no credit card for initial access.

"As AI agents begin taking on more operational tasks, platforms need to make themselves ready for all agents. Instead of treating agents as background integrations, we’re building the infrastructure that allows humans and AI agents to collaborate directly. monday.com is where that collaboration happens," said Roy Mann, co‑CEO.

"People adopt products, not technology, and that’s where monday.com comes in. By embedding intelligence into the products our customers already know, use, and love, AI will accelerate our mission to democratize the power of software," added Daniel Lereya, Chief Product and Technology Officer.
