Morningstar, Inc. has broadened the reach of its investment data by making five new datasets available on the Snowflake Marketplace. The added collections include Morningstar Licensed Data, Morningstar Indexes, Morningstar Sustainalytics, Morningstar DBRS, and Morningstar Credit Analytics, allowing investment professionals to pull the firm’s comprehensive research directly into their Snowflake environments.
The integration gives clients a single, cloud‑native point of access for a wide range of Morningstar’s products. By embedding data into Snowflake’s AI‑data cloud, users can combine Morningstar’s analytics with other third‑party data, build AI models, and run queries without moving data out of the platform. The move also removes the need for separate data pipelines, reducing integration time and cost for asset managers, banks, and other institutional investors.
Morningstar’s decision aligns with its broader strategy to become an AI‑native platform. Snowflake’s marketplace is a key growth area in the AI‑data cloud market, and the partnership positions Morningstar as a core data provider for AI‑driven investment workflows.
