MicroVision announced the launch of its Global Partner and Reseller Program, a strategic initiative designed to accelerate the deployment of its cost‑effective Lidar 2.0 solutions across industrial, defense, and mobility markets.

The program equips partner organizations with tools, expertise, and support to transition from pilot projects to full commercialization. New partners have been added in Japan, North America, Europe, Korea, and Singapore, expanding the company’s reach and enabling localized support for customers worldwide.

MicroVision’s move comes amid a broader effort to shift from research and development to scalable market execution. The company has faced financial challenges, including net losses and a restructuring that included a 20% workforce reduction in the first half of 2026. Recent acquisitions—$33 million for assets from Luminar Technologies and the pending acquisition of Scantinel Photonics—underscore the company’s focus on expanding its product portfolio and strengthening its competitive position.

CEO Glen DeVos said, "The industry is at an inflection point. Success is no longer defined by demonstrating what's possible. It's defined by delivering reliable, economically viable solutions at scale that unlock value for customers. Our Global Partner Program is built to help our partners do exactly that: to integrate faster, deploy with confidence, and succeed in production environments."

The launch of the partner program is expected to broaden MicroVision’s customer base, increase revenue opportunities, and accelerate market penetration. By providing partners with access to the Movia, Iris, Movia Air, and Movia Perception product lines, the company aims to move beyond pilots and achieve widespread commercial deployment of its Lidar 2.0 technology.

Overall, the program signals MicroVision’s commitment to commercialization and ecosystem building, positioning the company to improve its financial trajectory and strengthen its standing in the evolving lidar landscape.
