Nano‑X Imaging Ltd. announced a clinical collaboration with Meir Medical Center, a major hospital within Israel’s Clalit Health Services network, to deploy its Nanox.ARC multisource digital tomosynthesis system in a study focused on orthopedic injuries treated in emergency departments.

The study will compare Nanox.ARC imaging with Meir’s existing diagnostic workflow, which typically involves conventional radiography followed by CT. By evaluating the system’s ability to provide more detailed anatomical information, higher diagnostic confidence, and faster clinical decision‑making, the collaboration seeks to strengthen the clinical evidence base for Nanox.ARC in a high‑volume, high‑impact setting. Meir Medical Center, an 801‑bed academic hospital with a strong reputation in orthopedics, will serve as a key site for the study.

The partnership is a key step in validating Nanox.ARC’s clinical utility and building evidence for broader adoption. CEO Erez Meltzer said, "This collaboration with Meir Medical Center advances the ongoing real‑world clinical validation of the Nanox.ARC. Partnerships with leading institutions like Meir, one of Israel's largest hospital networks, are essential to building the clinical evidence base that will support broader adoption of our technology. Our long‑term goal is to make advanced 3D imaging accessible, cost‑efficient, and a standard part of patient care worldwide."

Nanox.ARC has received FDA 510(k) clearance for general use, including musculoskeletal indications, and the company’s broader ecosystem—Nanox.AI, Nanox.CLOUD, and Nanox.MARKETPLACE—positions it to offer a radiology‑as‑a‑service model. The study could strengthen credibility among Israeli clinicians and open doors to other hospitals and health systems.

Professor Nissim Ohana, Head of the Orthopedic Division at Meir Medical Center, added, "The orthopedic division at Meir Medical Center, under my leadership, is deeply committed to innovation and technological advancement as powerful engines for progress in Israeli healthcare. We welcome our collaboration with Nanox and hope that evaluating the Nanox.ARC in real‑time emergency settings will have the potential to significantly improve fracture detection and to meaningfully benefit our patients."
