NetScout Systems, Inc. announced that it is extending its Omnis AI Insights platform to communications service providers (CSPs), adding a new customer segment to its AI‑powered observability portfolio. The move enables CSPs to convert raw network data into AI‑ready smart data that can feed agentic AI applications for customer experience and network operations.
The extension delivers CSPs a curated, real‑time data feed that links performance, service impact, and subscriber experience across 5G, radio access network (RAN), core, multi‑access edge computing (MEC), and transport layers. By providing high‑fidelity telemetry, the platform supports faster root‑cause analysis, predictive maintenance, and enhanced security while reducing operational costs and risk.
NetScout’s expansion into the CSP market is part of a broader strategy to monetize its deep packet inspection foundation through subscription‑based services. The company’s recent Q3 fiscal 2026 earnings beat—revenue of $250.68 million and net income of $55.14 million—underscored the strength of its AI‑enabled offerings and prompted a raise in full‑year guidance to $835 million–$870 million in revenue and $1.15–$1.23 in GAAP EPS. The new CSP offering is expected to accelerate the shift toward higher‑margin, recurring revenue streams.
Richard Fulwiler, senior director of product management, said, “AI agents only deliver meaningful outcomes when they are powered by meticulously curated, multi‑domain intelligence drawn from real activity across the digital ecosystem. By dramatically reducing data volume, complexity, and infrastructure demands for storage and processing, while minimizing risk by enhancing network security, we help CSPs shift customer service and care from a cost center to a strategic resource that protects revenue and strengthens loyalty.”
The launch positions NetScout to capture a larger share of the growing observability and AIOps market, which is estimated to exceed $19 billion. It also aligns with the company’s goal of deriving more than 50 % of total revenue from AI‑enhanced products by 2026, following a $450 million acquisition in 2024 that accelerated its AI capabilities.
NetScout’s strong liquidity—over $540 million in cash and investments and no debt—provides a solid foundation for continued investment in AI and for scaling the Omnis AI Insights platform across the CSP ecosystem. The company plans to showcase its AI for telecom networks at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona from March 2‑5, 2026, further highlighting its commitment to the telecom AI space.
