RapidFort, a provider of secure Kubernetes solutions, and Nutanix announced a partnership at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon in Amsterdam on March 23 2026. The collaboration will embed RapidFort’s security and compliance capabilities into Nutanix’s Kubernetes Platform (NKP), allowing Nutanix customers to deploy a hardened, compliant Kubernetes environment on the Nutanix Cloud Platform for AI and other cloud‑native workloads.

The partnership expands Nutanix beyond its hyper‑converged infrastructure roots and positions the company to capture a larger share of the hybrid multicloud and AI‑ready market. "Integrating RapidFort into the Nutanix Kubernetes Platform gives our customers access to a platform with hardened software artifacts. It’s a big step forward in making Kubernetes environments more secure everywhere they run," said Dan Ciruli, vice president and general manager, Cloud Native, at Nutanix. RapidFort’s technology reduces the container attack surface by up to 90% and continuously eliminates vulnerabilities, enabling customers to move faster while reducing risk and accelerating compliance.

The integration will be available as a unified offering within NKP, with RapidFort’s security features embedded directly into the platform. "The Nutanix Kubernetes Platform meets the enterprise foundation team’s need to run Kubernetes consistently across datacenter, edge, and public cloud," said George Manuelian, co‑founder and CSO of RapidFort. "RapidFort complements NKP by continuously eliminating vulnerabilities and reducing attack surface in the workloads deployed into those environments—so customers can move faster while reducing risk and accelerating compliance," the Techzine Europe article quoted Manuelian. The integrated solution is expected to reach general availability later in 2026.

Nutanix’s recent financial performance underscores the strategic timing of the partnership. In Q2 FY2026, the company reported revenue of $722.8 million, a 10% year‑over‑year increase, and an adjusted EPS of $0.56 versus the consensus estimate of $0.44. Annual recurring revenue grew 16% to $2.36 billion. Management guided for Q3 FY2026 revenue of $680 million to $690 million, indicating continued demand for its hybrid multicloud platform. The new partnership is expected to accelerate subscription revenue and deepen channel relationships, reinforcing Nutanix’s growth trajectory.

The deal supports Nutanix’s three‑pronged AI strategy—AI on Nutanix, AI at Nutanix, and AI in Nutanix—by providing a secure foundation for AI workloads on Kubernetes. It also strengthens the company’s channel‑first approach, enabling partners to offer a more comprehensive secure Kubernetes solution. In a market where competitors such as VMware, HPE, Dell Technologies, AWS Outposts, and Azure Stack are expanding their own secure Kubernetes offerings, the RapidFort partnership differentiates Nutanix by combining robust security with a unified hybrid multicloud experience.

The partnership signals Nutanix’s commitment to delivering a secure, AI‑ready hybrid multicloud platform. By integrating RapidFort’s security capabilities, Nutanix is better positioned to meet stringent regulatory requirements, accelerate AI adoption, and drive future growth in a rapidly evolving market.
